Atlanta Community Schools Secondary English Classes

While the library in ACS still has books in it, it's been closed to checking out for several years and no longer has any newer releases. As an 8th-12th grade English teacher, it's become my mission to present our secondary students with new, relevant books to read in the library under development in my classroom. Beyond new releases and best sellers, I'm creating a diverse collection so that all populations are represented. I'm also looking to procure more non-fiction books that are of interest to our students. I'm trying to develop life-long readers/learners one book at a time.

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
