The Little Stars Foundation

Posted By: Alan Sun (August 2, 2016)
While we know STEM education is important, the quality of math and science education in the US was ranked only 52nd by the World Economic Forum.

The Little Stars Foundation (TLSF) addresses this issue by introducing a STEM program called “Future Car Design”. Instructed by Ford Motor Company engineers and top college computer science students, the free workshop will teach kids basic design concepts and computer programming skills. A 3D printer will be used to demonstrate how to turn an idea into a tangible object. The students will use 3D printer and 3D Printing pen to design and make their own car. The program not only engages and excites kids but can spark interest in STEM and the arts. The grant will help us offset the program cost.

A Canton Based 501(c)3 youth organization, TLSF aims to provide service to local children and seniors, enriching life in our community. www.thelittlestars.org.
