Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) are electronic transfers of funds from one account to another that originate through a telephonic device, an electronic terminal, or a computer; for example, a telephone transfer, an ACH direct deposit or withdrawal, a check or an online banking transfer. EFTs do not include ATM transactions, branch transactions or loan payment transfers of any kind.
