Thumbs Up For Charity!
Congratulations to our Winners

Community Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of our “Thumbs Up for Charity” program.  Throughout April 2017, we asked the community to nominate nonprofits that make an impact.  We then invited the public to vote on the five finalists.

First Place Winner- $10,000

Stiggy's Dogs, a local organization that rescues and trains shelter dogs to be psychiatric service dogs for Michigan military veterans living with PTSD or brain injuries, received the most votes and will receive the $10,000 grand prize. Learn more at

The other winning charities were:

American Association of University Women Northville-Novi -  $5,000 Second Place
Otsego County Community Foundation, Youth Advisory Committee - $5,000 Third Place
Plymouth Community Council on Aging - $2,500 Fourth Place
Livonia Commodity Food Program - $2,500 Fifth Place
