Camp Casey

Camp Casey brings "horse camp" to the homes of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses who are-- many times-- unable to leave home to enjoy summer camp, like their peers.

Our 18-year old nonprofit knocks on doors with a horse on the doorstep and provides a grooming lesson, horseback rides around the neighborhood, camp activities, pizza, and an afternoon of fun celebrate the bravery of the sick child with up to 30 guests! Camp Casey brings communities together to wrap their arms around a family going through the most difficult times.

Camp Casey would use $1000 granted to provide a Horsey House Call to a local child and give them a day they'll never forget.

It would be a tremendous honor to be one of this summer's charities and would love to have anyone from Community Financial accompany us on a Horsey House Call to see your generosity in action!

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
