The Fallen & Wounded Soldiers Fund - Residence at the Village Arts Factory Dormitory

Located in Canton, MI in historic Cherry Hill Village, The Veterans’ Dormitory was built by Henry Ford during WWII to provide housing for disabled veterans who worked at the Ford Factory next door. Continuing his tradition, Canton’s Partnership for the Arts & Humanities restored the building that now provides housing for disabled Michigan veterans.
The Fallen & Wounded Soldiers Fund, a non-profit 501(c)3 org, is leasing the Veterans’ Dormitory from Canton Township. The FWSF offers a program that supports Michigan-based veterans who are experiencing financial hardship because of injuries sustained in the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns. Your donation will say ‘Thank you for your service’ in the best way possible. If awarded, the money will be used to purchase food and supplies for veterans living at the residence. FWSF.org Thank you for considering the FWSF as a recipient of the Summer of Sharing Program.
