Montmorency County Commission on Aging

The Montmorency County Commission on Aging is a non-profit organization that provides Home Delivered Meals, Homemaking, Personal Care, Congregate Meals and medical transportation for all residents of Montmorency County that are over 60 years in age. We are able to provide these services to seniors in part from donations and grants awarded to us. An award of $1000 would mean so very much to our programs. We currently have 4 volunteer medical drivers that we reimburse for medical transportation. That program is funded completely out of our general funds. Without the generous volunteer drivers, these senior clients would not be able to make it to lifesaving medical appointments. It is heartbreaking when we cannot find transport for them, as many have no other options. Please consider Montmorency County Commission on Aging for an award, so that we may continue to help the seniors of Montmorency County.

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
