Life After Care

Knowing that less than 3% of children who are fostered graduate college, Life After Care is a program where participants are learning basic personal care, having conversations about their futures and opportunities that otherwise would be out of reach, they’re preparing for a chance to change the course of their lives.

LAC, would benefit from and utilize $1000 in order to continue to create the safe spaces the foster youth can explore, develop and thrive regardless of their present circumstances.

The youth are excited for programming, respectful of the volunteers who bring handson workshops, and are engaged throughout the Entire session.

LAC deserves this funding and I’m hopeful even their garden Will continue to thrive just as the program.

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
