Boys & Girls Club of Alpena

The Boys and Girls Club of Alpena ensures inclusion and a safe place for ALL youth in our community. They never turn away any youth and have been a positive place in the community for a very long time. They serve free meals to the youth, have programs and it only costs a $20 per year. They are currently getting a new building to be able to have more youth involved. My granddaughter participates and has a sensory disorder. They have made sure that she is comfortable and included. They are working on creating a multisensory room in the new building to be able to better serve those youth and it will be so helpful to my granddaughter and other youth like her.

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
