Living and Learning Enrichment Center

The Living and Learning center is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing support in social skills and vocational skills to teens and young adults with autism and related conditions. The unemployment rate for adults with autism is well over 80%, which means these citizens require government support. The Center aims to turn young adults into employed taxpayers, so that they do not depend on government support. My son has participated in the weekend hangouts (a unique 3 hour social skills program not offered anywhere else in the USA), summer job skills camp and video modeling social skills classes. He loves the classes and he loves the social workers at the Center. He has a resume, has filled out job applications and will attend his first job fair tomorrow. The Center fills a void that no other public or private organization has attempted to consider. Please support this deserving organization!
