National African American Student Network

Posted By: Paula Henry (August 1, 2021)
National African American Student Network, NAASN, is a 501(c)3 organization developed to support African American students transitioning from high school to college. Our goal is to help students excel on the ACT/SAT , help students complete college essays and applications. We also want to provide scholarships, mentor students to help them adjust to college and remain in college as we know it is challenging that first year. NAASN wants to teach job skills, resume assistance, and share information about the skilled trade industry. Our organization would help first-time college students get into college and provide guidance and mentorship to help them remain in college at the university level and the community college. We also want to support students who may choose to go the skilled trades route, which is admirable. NAASN is an example of how we build our community!
