Elk Country Animal Shelter

The Elk Country Animal Shelter (ECAS) operating costs have risen the same as the cost of living for each of us. While their shelter operations, fundraising events, contributions, and generous local support cover the bulk of normal operating expenses, they need additional funding to provide enhanced services like Community Spay/Neuter Program, to improve or add kennels and fencing, and to purchase equipment and materials vital to maintaining an up-do-date, efficient shelter. They depend on local, state, and national charitable organizations. Every penny a schoolchild donates, every five dollar check a senior citizen writes, every dollar ECAS collects goes to help care for the animals housed at the shelter. The community provides Pedigree Dog Food for dogs housed at the shelter. Tax deductible donations to help the shelter from individuals and organizations like this one, from Community Financial would be very valuable to the continuing success of ECAS.

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
