The Mental Health of our youth is so very important. Susie Q's Kids (501c3) is the Community Partner of the Year by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and has worked with numerous nonprofits throughout Southeast Michigan to "provide comfort bags to kids in need".

Susie Q's Kids recognizes kids who have been impacted by trauma need help and provide comfort bags to nonprofits to distribute to kids in their programs such as kids in hospitals, shelters, foster care, and those grieving the loss of loved ones. We can make a difference in the life of a child, one comfort bag at a time.

$1000 will enable us to purchase blankets for distribution with our comfort bags and panda bears.

Imagine the smile of a child wrapped in a blanket, holding a panda bear, and utilizing the products in our comfort bags to feel loved, appreciated, and valued.

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
