Bridgepointe is a nonprofit organization that has been working for two decades to support Southwest Detroit families with educational and social services, focused at Neinas and Academy of the Americas Schools. Due to the impacts of COVID-19, many students and families in this area are facing severe hardship due to a lack of resources, including a lack of access to food and other basic essentials. As a result, Bridgepointe has launched a project for the Summer of 2020 called 100 Days of Summer, working to keep families nourished during these extremely challenging times. Meals and educational supplements will be purchased, packaged, and delivered as part of this effort, and all contributions will directly support families facing hard times. A $1000 donation would be immensely helpful to purchase food and meal kit materials to aid families facing such difficult circumstances. Thank you to CFCU for its consideration!
