Hillman Area Lions Club

The Hillman Area Lions Club has been providing food support to the Hillman Area for several years. They feed 40 students each week during the school year with a backpack of food for the weekend and hold a monthly "Pop Up Pantry" which provides food for 150-200 families. Without this assistance many children would go hungry on weekends when there are no school lunches, and many families and seniors would not have enough food. During this time of skyrocketing food prices, this assistance is needed more than ever. The Hillman Lions are a small club and work hard to raise the funds to continue these programs. $1000 would pay for one of the monthly food trucks, or would pay for weekend food for 10 students during the school year.

*Nominees must be a 501(c)(3) organization, associated with an accredited educational institution or a recognized community support organization serving the communities within Community Financial's field of membership. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Community Financial team members and will be awarded based upon the judges own evaluation and discretion. All decisions of the panel are final.
