Owner's Corner

Members of Community Financial are owners.  As a credit union, we are a not-for-profit financial cooperative.  When you enter one of our branches you are a part owner.

We have a lot to be proud of as member-owners of Community Financial Credit Union. We have a significant impact on our communities. Our volunteer board of directors, elected by our membership, makes sure that “Community Financial exists so consumers and businesses in our field of membership can enjoy sound financial health, and our communities are enriched.” 

Our purpose is to help by offering competitive products and services that meet our members' needs.   As lives change, we want Community Financial to be a trusted resource that can help make your life better.   We are also committed to educating youth in our communities so they understand basic financial concepts.  We contribute time and money to service organizations that improve our communities.
 
Our Board is made up of nine volunteers who are elected by our membership.  They represent you and govern a financially strong credit union that is able to make a positive difference now and in the future.

Board of Directors Election Information

Community Financial is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and governed by its members.  Your Board of Directors is comprised of nine elected members who serve as trustees for our credit union, focusing on the member/owners’ perspective.

2017 Board Election

The Community Financial Nominating Committee recommended incumbent s Al Berrie, Paul Bedich and Ron Meteyer to be placed on the 2017 ballot for the Board of Directors. In addition, no nominations were received via petition.  As a result, the board secretary will cast a unanimous ballot for election of the persons nominated above at the annual meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at The Inn at St. John’s Conference Center.

Future Board Candidates Sought

Our next Board of Directors' election will be held in January 2018.  Members interested in volunteering for the Supervisory Committee and/or Board of Directors should submit a letter and resume, no later than August 4, 2017, to:
