Accounts Insured up to $350,000
Community Financial provides insurance protection up to $350,000, the highest level of combined federal/private share insurance available. Your accounts are federally insured to at least $100,000 by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), an agency of the U.S. Government. Your savings are also privately insured for an additional $250,000 by Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI). ESI is a subsidiary of American Share Insurance. This coverage is made available at no cost to members. There are no enrollment forms to sign; your credit union accounts are automatically covered.
