During 2005, Community Financial's generous employees donated over $29,000 as part of our Jeans for Charity Program. Our staff also gave countless hours volunteering to make our communities stronger.

Community Financial is a not-for-profit, full-service financial institution owned and governed by its membership. Serving Southeast and Northern Michigan, this cooperative credit union provides members with competitive dividend rates on checking and savings accounts, as well as market driven loan rates. Members also receive a high level of personal service which is the cornerstone of Community Financial.

Who Can Join
Community Financial is a federally chartered credit union, serving persons who live, work (or regularly conduct business in), worship, volunteer, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities in the following Michigan communities:
Also, any person who has an immediate family member who resides in Community Financial eligible communities (listed above) is also eligible for membership in the credit union. (Immediate family is defined as spouse, parent, child, sibling, and grandparent.)
Finally, any person currently living in the same household with a member of Community Financial can join.
