Community Financial believes that financial literacy and money management are important life skills that all children need to know. Youth Services are for members from birth to age 13 and offers exclusive savings programs designed with our growing members in mind.
Community Financial’s Educational Partnership has introduced hundreds of students to age-appropriate banking, economic and business concepts developed by Junior Achievement (JA).
Each year, our school coordinators led over fifty 5-week long social study enrichment sessions in local elementary classrooms. Lessons for kindergartners and first graders began with Oneself and Our Family while children up to fifth grade progressed to gain a practical understanding of the business relationships with Our Community, Our City, Our Region and Our Nation.
For over a decade, Community Financial has worked to bring these JA lessons to our partnering schools. For more information contact Natalie McLaughlin, Senior Education Partnership Coordinator at (734) 582-8774.
